SLOWER
Beth Keeping, Kaity Rae
I’m a fast talker
Chaos adorer
Throw myself into the deep water
Running before I could walker
I got this habit
Of cycling through static
Throw myself into a deep panic
When life doesn’t move how I planned it
And I used to think love was falling fast in a head rush
But with you it’s different cause
It’s a slow burn
It’s a long drive down the west coast moving in closer
It’s a walk home
Letting it lie in the unknown head on your shoulder
Coming into the light, finally taking my time
I’m letting it grow moment by moment
It’s a don’t go
Stealing your nights with a wrong turn til it takes over
I’m loving you slower
Building the foundations
I’m getting more patient
No longer feel like I have to chase it
Taking in all of these stages
I used to think love was in the fire and the first touch
But now I see it different cause
It’s a slow burn
It’s a long drive down the west coast moving in closer
It’s a walk home
Letting it lie in the unknown head on your shoulder
Coming into the light, finally taking my time
I’m letting it grow moment by moment
It’s a don’t go
Stealing your nights with a wrong turn til it takes over
I’m loving you slower
I’m a fast talker
Chaos adorer
And my world’s always changing spinning and racing
But now it stops when I hold you
It’s a slow burn
It’s a long drive down the west coast moving in closer
It’s a walk home
Letting it lie in the unknown head on your shoulder
Coming into the light, finally taking my time
I’m letting it grow moment by moment
It’s a don’t go
Stealing your nights with a wrong turn til it takes over
I’m loving you slower
